The Marketing & PR specialist will work on creating content and copy for clients,  pitching media, and various others account management responsibilities. The marketing specialist will attend client meetings, work with Elysium strategists and designers, and stay up-to-date on marketing best practices and clients’ industry trends.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Copywriting:

  • Write short form copy for clients for campaigns
  • Write long form content for clients
  • Work on brand positioning, stories, and associations
  • Produce unique and creative work that reflects the brand strategy
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions with clients and internal design team
  • Conduct research on products and industry trends to ensure relevance and effectiveness of campaign content
  • Review and revise content to meet quality standards based on feedback from clients and internal team

Project Management:

  • Develop content calendar for blogs, social, and email marketing
  • Work with creative team on design, content, and messaging
  • Create copy for testing on social media and emails
  • Work with client to determine the needs of their company
  • Ideate new campaign ideas
  • Create editorial calendar for content marketing

PR:

  • Pitch media on new exciting projects
  • Develop marketing communications plans including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics to enhance client’s awareness in the market place
  • Create media relations strategies, seeking placements in print, broadcast, and online media
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts
  • Establish your client’s image with the use of press releases, and assembling press kits

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4 – 7 years of experience
  • Marketing and PR experience required
  • Robust creativity, writing, and proofreading skills
  • Knowledge of all social media platforms
  • Natural ability to multitask
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • General curiosity and penchant for learning
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent customer relation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior level officials (Business owners)
